Lazy Sunday – or is it?

Well, we’re still doing a lot to get organised for my partner’s trip away on Tuesday. The laundry never ends, much like the packing.

Our two older kids have been relaxing for hours, lost in thier own little Useful Box world.

Mr 3 loves sticky tape….could you guess? He’s also been practising using scissors, by doing fringing.

Open ended craft

Miss 9 decided to sticky-tape some fabric together to make a blanket. She has decided she’d like to learn to sew a patchwork piece. That will be fun!

Miss 9 decided to abandon her wolf project and re-purpose the bottle for this beautiful owl

I know as mums, we look forward to the weekend, and still don’t get to rest much! But I do hope that everyone has a relaxing vibe in the home as they run around, at the very least.

I love the useful box idea! I LOVE weekends and usually do find them pretty relaxing. Lately my kids have been into board games and it's nice that my 5 yr old is finally at a point where he can follow some rules, sit still, etc… But they are both really creative as well so I'm always looking for new ideas. Thanks!!
