With so many kids in the house, it really feels as though their toys are just taking over the house, some days. The most challenging thing is finding a place to store it all out of the way and so toys are easy to find once the kids want to play.
I was so excited to be sent my very own Great Crate from Fiona Kate.
… as you can see, so was Missy 3! These crates look like traditional cardboard gift boxes, but they’re actually made from sturdy corflute, a super strong poly propylene. I find my kids are very rough on storage boxes, and this is always a consideration I make when buying anything for storage.
We managed to fit a lot of toys in here! Missy 3 loves carrying this around all day long (it’s very light weight), using it as a ‘house’ for her toys to play in, and she’s even taken to bringing the box to bed to sleep with! She puts all the toys she loves to sleep with inside, and has it next to her pillow. So cute..
The great thing about these Great Crates too is that you can decorate them yourself:
Here, it’s been decorated as a gift box, but you could also decorate them to show which toys belong in each box, for example, pictures and words representing trains, dolls, blocks and so on. Fiona Kate can also be found on facebook.
The Great Crate is a hit here, and I’m giving one away to one lucky reader!

What beautiful boxes! I really can’t go past the Great Crate for my kids toys. It seems I am always putting them away and with this cute box I think they just may put their own toys away.
